Parenting

It is such a powerful feeling when you can understand what your child needs from you. Nate got cranky right on-time for his second nap, so I put him in the crib. He cried in a way that was different from his normal "falling to sleep" fussiness, so I retrieved him and let him nurse, but he wasn't interested. If Nate cries, he's hungry or he's tired. Or he's hurt. I took a look inside his mouth, and the second bottom tooth has just poked through.

I put some OraJel on it, and I'm letting him hang out in his swing instead of his crib. He needs the extra comfort right now.

I am seriously good at this!
